Hello, my name is Ben and I run animal rescue in my neighborhood on the near west side of Indianapolis. Recently, I rescued a husky. Suffering from heat exhaustion, malnutrition, dehydration, worms and an issue with his eye. A steady drainage with an odor that isn't too pungent but is noticeable on inspection. I've done what I can with keeping it flushed and clean but due to an abundance of strays in the local area, the resources are bare none. I know that the cost of anti-biotics wouldn't be too high but I'm sure he needs vaccinations added. He goes by Shao, I think he just likes the sound of it, he was in bad health but has made a great recovery in becoming more sociable and getting a healthier appetite. All white with blue eyes and black nose. He is a sweet boy and needs a loving home that can put all their energy into him. He does well with other dogs so far as I've seen (4 other dogs in the home). Does very well with the cat too. But any dog owner knows that you don't want to trust any dog that far unless they've grown up together. He loves playing with toys like ropes, plush toys, blankets lol He also enjoys snacking on beef trachea, pig ear and any kind of biscuit. I know that he'd be open to trying a plethora of new things! I would be happy to meet with you for a meet and greet and see how things go. He's a still a bit skittish so we'd take it slow.
