Due to unforseen circumstances, I can no longer care for my horse. He is an OTTB that raced and did well the first several years of his life. He is now 18 and is very sweet. The prior owners said they trail rode him, but he didn't seem to have much experience with it and wanted to go back to the barn. He is trustworthy in the arena and his prior owners had their 13 year old learning the pattern on him. I'd like to see him go to a home where someone can give him more time. He also needs his food soaked. He had a bad episode of choke, so this must be followed. He is a hard keeper, like most thoroughbreds, so needs extra grain/alfalfa pellets and to be blanketed in the winter. I would keep him myself, but my family structure and income has changed drastically over the last year. If you are looking for an easy going arena partner to have fun with and don't mind soaking feed, he would give you a lot of love in return!
