Taking your photographs from good to great means you need to know about how to use or manipulate light.  Understanding the characteristics of light is the fundamental start of every photograph. The next challenge of photography is looking at the scene or object in front of you and deciding how to capture it in the rectangle that is your camera’s viewfinder.  Composition can be one of the most difficult aspects of photography to master. This class will help show you how to see the light and use the visual elements of your scene to make a compelling composition that will draw a viewer in and keep them there. The class is open to all levels of photographers and all types of cameras!  What you will learn:  Light Characteristics Learn to recognize the characteristics of light and when and how to change them.   Composition Learn several compositional rules that help arrange the visual elements in your photograph.   Representing the 3-D world in 2-D.
