Description

A pop-up market featuring vintage and reworked clothing, locally made jewelry, beauty & wellness, and aura photos in Logan Square. Saturday April 16th, 12PM-5PM Hosted by The Sunday Standard, featuring work by The Fair Court, Mister Baby, Cities in Dust, and Aura Iris. 2837 W Armitage Ave in Logan Square - Courtney Pentimalli is the gal behind The Fair Court. The brand was built around her favorite form of creative expression- getting dressed! Courtney always felt putting together an outfit was similar to finalizing a puzzle, or creating a collage. "It is the epicenter of my journey in experimentation with art, in a physical form. Initially, The Fair Court was a personal platform, but over time, I had many inquiries into my styling tips, and vintage secrets. I wanted to share this with everyone around me, and also help people feel the MOST comfortable in the things they wear while encouraging sustainability at the same time." Courtney is partnering with Jess DePaul of Mister Baby to launch the PLAY MORE chore coat - a "choose your own adventure" mix of customizable embroidery on expertly curated vintage European chore jackets. - Jess DePaul of Mister Baby is a graphic designer and embroidery artist in Chicago with a love for all things vintage, bold, and floral. She adds one-of-a-kind custom embellishments to vintage clothing using her antique hand-cranked chainstitch embroidery machine. - Cities In Dust, a Chicago-based jewelry brand, is a playful and nostalgic accessory line with a modern spin that believes accessories should not be limited by gender; Cities in Dust aims to be an inclusive and accessible brand for everyone. - Aura Iris, led by Claire Mooney, will be on-site offering Aura Portrait sessions for individuals, friends, and partners. - The Sunday Standard is an independent beauty and wellness boutique curated for the conscious consumer, featuring the best clean, non-toxic products from an edited selection of female-founded and sustainably minded brands.
