Idk how many times ppl need to post on CL about this...But charging a rehoming fee for your pet IS one way to at least try to get them a loving home. "Free to good home" is a huge risk to the health, life, & well-being of your pet. Please do a search (or just read CL's warning about it right where you post). This is not a scare tactic, it is the truth. And the truth as to what can (and has) happen is horrible. Another great way to protect your pet that you are rehoming, is to spay or neuter them prior to rehoming. That way they don't end up being bred for the rest of their lives by a byb or puppy/cat mill. You are the advocate for your pet. Pls take that job as seriously as possible when finding them a new home. TY.
