Missing a Puppy?

Tonight (4/3/2022) while driving up Skyway (cross street Yeshua Dr.) we found a female black puppy with blue eyes on the side of the road. She had been hit by a car and left there. She had a pink collar and a flea collar. I would guess maybe shepherd husky mix. We loaded her into our car and took her to the emergency vet (Valley Oak Veterinary VCA) in Chico. Located on Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. The vet advised us they would do what they could to save her/keep her comfortable and they would call animal control in the morning if she makes it through the night. VCA will not update us on her status since we are not her owners. Please give them a call if this is/may be your puppy.
