Description

The Great Reawakening forced corporate America to rethink its systemic practices by enlisting DEI experts for change or to check a box? HBGM&Co., an Executive Search & Placement firm that exists to diversify leadership roles in corporate spaces, will debut with an evening of conversation around the present state of underrepresented women in corporate America post George Floyd and the global pandemic, hosted by Co-Founders Gwenn McGuire and Janaye Hall. Moderated by Janaye Hall with expert opinions from Erin Barbee and Nesha Pai , we will unravel the notion that DEI has become a popular checkbox for companies: Do Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) initiatives really work for underrepresented women in corporate America? We welcome a crowd of women who identify as disruptors and trailblazers. Code switching is not allowed. Natural hair, blue hair, sneakers and suits...all are welcomed. We will engage in conversation about an industry many women have been effected by shared in an authentic discussion around good food, badass women, signature cocktails and music. Dress is business casual or Spring trendy. While the conversation is centered around women, men are more than welcome to attend as well. Parking is available along the sides of the building on Craft Street and Whitton Street. There is also a parking lot along Whitton St and Dewitt Ln which has direct access to the cafe and courtyard area. This evening is sponsored by Novel Loso Station and our good friends, Land of a Thousand Hills, an impactful company with great taste and a greater mission to "do good in our world." We look forward to being in your company!
