Description
Organic, local, seasonal Caterer looking for someone to help in the kitchen with dishes, food prep and clean up. On site, help with building appetizer platters, setting up buffet, tear down, clean up and any other miscellaneous tasks that come up.
Artistic eye/ ability to make visually appealing displays with food a plus! Some kitchen/ catering experience is a plus, though not required. The most important thing to me is that you love working with food and have a positive attitude. Also, event days are long so I need someone who can handle the hours and standing a lot. Although this post is just for one gig, if it's the right fit there would be more opportunities in the future!
Requirements:
Food Handler's Card (ServSafe or equivalent)
Able to lift up to 40#
Able to be on your feet for 8+hrs at a time
Reliable transportation- kitchen is in Scott's Valley, event is in Aptos
Vaccinated and boosted
Dates / Hours:
4/8: kitchen: 10am-4pm
4/9: kitchen: 9-12pm, on site: 1-9pm
