Please join Hough-Pontius Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #3701 for an evening of honoring some wonderful community members. This banquet will be held to honor and present awards to local students who participated in our essay and speech scholarship contests, Teacher of the Year, Fire Fighter of the Year, Public Safety Officer of the Year, EMT of the Year and more! We will also be raffling items to raise funds for our new building project! Dinner will be served from 5 - 6:30 pmAwards presentation at 6:15Followed by raffle drawingsDinner will include a choice of chicken or steak, mashed potatoes, broccoli, dinner roll, salad, dessert, coffee, water, and punch. This event is open to the public. Reservations are not required but highly recommended as this dinner has sold out in the past. NOTE : This event will not be held at the VFW Post. It will be held at the 1073rd Maintenance Company in Greenville.
