PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Local, county and state government offices, along with numerous services, will not be available Christmas. According to Prince George's County supervisors, county offices will be closed both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Prince George's County residents receiving county-contracted trash and recycling collection will not receive collection services on Friday. Instead, it will be picked up on Saturday. All parks and rec services such as senior activity centers, sports facilities, historic sites, regional parks, community centers, art centers and the indoor pool complex are all closed Christmas Day. Prince George's County Memorial Library System also will be closed Dec. 24-27.
