Strong willed GSD/Malamute

Patience is a strikingly handsome 16 month old GSD/MALAMUTE mix. He is very loyal and loves to be out in the woods hiking. He is great with kids and doesn't exhibit any aggression that's other dogs or humans. He is, however, very strong willed. He knows many commands but chooses not to follow them. He is marking indoors,and he is actively trying to break through the fence in our back yard. I know that neutering might solve some of these problems, but I think the bigger issue is that he is a high energy working dog, and I am not able to give him what he needs. He needs constant exercise. Ideally he needs a job. He would be a great dog for an avid fishermen, or someone that works in the woods. He generally is not good on leash. His drive to pull is just so strong that it seems impossible to train him to walk on a loose leash. I have him scheduled to get neutered and signed up for obedience classes. I have not decided to give him away. Is just something I would consider *for the right person*. If you think you can give him the life he deserves, please hit me up.
