Lawn service
Jobs
Cape Coral FL
Description
Lawn service looking for a year round employee. Must have lots of experience with weed eating and edging. I’m not gonna call any references but you need to have worked for commercial lawn services, efficiently, with plenty of recent experience. Unfortunately I do not have time to train anyone. This is a position for someone who can take the Florida heat. We do not jump in the truck every other yard and drive around. We are in one gated community all day long, houses, not condos. Plenty of time for breaks and we go to a Circle K or 7-Eleven every day for lunch. Lots of raking up debris, on an average lawn we spend about five minutes on the grass and 20 to 30 on the bushes and palms. Not much grass cutting in this job. Lots of cleanup. Starts at $15 an hour, paid weekly I supply a cooler with ice and water. We start at 6:30 in downtown Cape Coral Monday through Friday. 6:30-3:00 We try not to work weekends, but with excessive rains, sometimes a Saturday here and there is necessary. I own the company and it is growing every month. This is a position for someone who is for looking long-term. I am a very reasonable person to work for, and in return I expect a very high level of quality work from my employees. Ultimately, I would like to find someone that would feel comfortable running the route so that I could concentrate on expansion of the company. We are a small company. One crew of 4-5 guys. We were together all day long and I am with the crew 95% of the time. We are not a mow, blow and go. We are an all inclusive service. Our yards look the same year-round, gated community standards. If this sounds like something you’re interested in and you’re looking for something long-term, reply with your contact info and the names of a couple of lawn services you’ve worked for. I don’t care why you’re not there anymore, I just need to know that you’ve worked down here in the heat. The right person can start this week. Again, please, if you do not have lots of experience weeding and edging, down here in Southwest Florida, please don’t apply.
