MIDDLESEX, NJ — For the week of Feb. 2 - Feb. 8, these roads in Middlesex borough will see enhanced police monitoring, and for the following reasons: At the start of every week, the Middlesex Police Department informs the public of those areas in the borough where they will intensify enforcement of traffic violations. While enforcement of traffic violations will continue throughout the borough and especially in school zones, these areas will receive additional focus for Feb. 2 - Feb. 8: Location: Decatur Avenue Issue: Speeding, Overweight Vehicles Location: Shepherd Avenue Issue: Speeding Location: Harris Avenue Issue: School pedestrian safety, Speeding Last week's traffic enforcement consisted of 119 motor vehicle stops conducted by Middlesex boro police.
