DALLAS, TX — One person was killed and 11 were injured in a shooting at an outdoor concert in south Dallas early Sunday, according to police. Kealon Dejuane Gilmore, 26, was killed in the shooting, which started when someone fired a shot into the air and another person shot into the crowd, according to authorities. Police found Gilmore lying near the concert stage with a gunshot wound to the head and pronounced him dead at the scene. The incident occurred at 5050 Cleveland Road, near Bonnie View Road and Interstate 20, at around 12:13 a.m. Sunday. One of the 11 people taken to the hospital was in critical condition. The others were in stable condition, police said. Police have not released a suspect but are investigating the shooting and possible motives. Police said several thousand people attended the concert. It's the fifth mass shooting in Texas this year, according to Gun Violence Archive.
