Small, woman-owned, high-end gardening company looking to hire individual(s) with some gardening experience, either personally or professionally, to provide custom maintenance and care to properties in the greater Boulder area. Individuals with education and/or experience would be preferred but a willingness to being open to learning is most important. Since we work at private residences, it is very important that you are professional, friendly and respectful. Initial training and familiarization with sites will be provided. After that, you would be assigned your own projects and occasionally asked to assist in other projects as needed. The work includes weeding, deadheading, pruning, planting and organic plant and soil care. You should be in reasonable physical shape, able to bend over or squat for long periods of time to work at ground level, occasionally lifting/moving bags up to 50 lbs., able to work in the cold as well as the heat. You will need your own vehicle for transportation. If your transportation is a truck, additional compensation could be available if it were to be used for moving materials. This is a temporary/seasonal P/T position, 2-5 days/week, 10-20 hrs/week - April through Sept/Oct, depending on the season. Great flexibility in setting your own schedule but I am looking for some basic commitments for ease of communication and consistency with clients.
