Description

Press release from the City of Johnston: March 31, 2022 How are we doing, as your City government? The City of Johnston is working with the ETC Institute to find out through a community survey. The community survey captures residents' opinions on governance and participation, also drilling down to specific issues such as economic development, recreation and public safety. It also commissions residents to answer based on their satisfaction with various aspects of life within the Johnston community. Residents will be randomly selected to participate in the survey and will be notified by mail. If you receive the survey, city leaders would be very appreciative if one person in your household would take the time to fill it out and return it. The randomly-chosen residents also have the opportunity to fill out the survey online or by phone. What will the city do with the results? ETC Institute will compare and analyze the 2022 results with the 2020 results and provide the metrics comparison. As the city enters the strategic planning season for the 2022-2023 fiscal year, the results will help guide the City's operational planning and help to determine project prioritization. Previous surveys were conducted in 2013, 2015, 2018, and 2020. This press release was produced by the City of Johnston. The views expressed here are the author's own.
