Press release from Hammond Academy of Science and Technology: March 31, 2022 The city of Hammond has informed me that the downtown construction project for urban improvements on Hohman Avenue will begin next Monday. While I do not have all the details and do not know exactly what it will look like, they have told me that all families will need to access HAST from State Line Road. I believe that access to streets west of Hohman between Sibley and Douglas will be closed off at Hohman Avenue. Long story short: State Line Road is the only way in and out of our campus for the time being. This construction will continue for the next few months. I will continue to share more as I learn more.
