Description
UNION CITY, CA — Union City plans to partially reopen City Administrative Offices on Monday in order to process building permits, development applications, permit payments, and business licenses. These limited services will be provided by appointment Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m to 2 p.m.
Alameda County's updated stay-at-home order relaxed some restrictions, including construction and the support services needed for construction.
To make an appointment, call 510-675-5312 or email [email protected].
Anyone who comes to city hall will be required to wear a face covering and will have to follow safety protocols on signs. Customer service representatives will be in the lobby monitoring people entering the building.
As for reopening Union City's recreation programs and sports fields, the Emergency Operations Center and City Officials are weighing various factors in the updated order and will provide an update soon.
