Semi Crashes Into Loading Dock, Burns

UNION CITY, CA — A big rig and its trailer went up in flames in Union City Monday morning. When firefighters arrived around 11 a.m. they found a fully engulfed trailer and cab. While the building was scorched, it did not catch fire. The fire happened at Alvarado Niles Road and Central Avenue in Union City. Both the Alameda County and Fremont Fire Departments responded to the fire to keep it from getting out of control.
