Recently relocated to LA, we're looking for a talented funky drummer for a live jamtronica project. The intention is to play and tour extensively and we're looking for other committed and talented musicians who want to do the same. You can see and hear more about the project at www.thekukaro.com We are looking for musicians who take their craft seriously, and are willing to practice weekly, rehearse and put together something really tight, compelling and exciting. The vision for this project is to create a sound and an ethos that resonates with audiences who like to dance, and who appreciate the healing and inspirational power of music. Our main influences are Jimi Hendrix, lots of psychedelic rock from the 60's and 70's (Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Funkadelic), Stevie Ray Vaughn, James Brown and more recently electronic producers like Opiuo, Odesza, Grouch(nz), Bluetech and others.
