35 year old multi-instrumentalist looking to enjoy music again after a long break. Link to tracks at the bottom. I was in several bands for about 10 years. My role had always been to be the glue that binds the group together to keep moving forward. However, by nature I'm not a bossy person and don't like being put in a position where I have to make most/all of the decisions only because others don't want to. More than anything else, I am looking for people who enjoy collaborating without taking criticism personally. I don't care about getting my way, I care that the work be the best version of itself and improving our decision making as a group. For example: If I, as a guitar player, write a song, it's likely going to revolve around the guitar part. That's boring! I want a keys or bass player to tell me which guitar parts I can dial back to have something more diverse take its place. I want a drummer to suggest changing the strumming pattern to fit a more interesting drum beat.
