I saw this post yesterday, but it is gone now. Not sure what happened, I was hoping to reach out to you. I've been trying to find a kitten for my family. The pet adoption wants more money then we have. We can care for a cat, but going through the process and then paying to be put through it is just unreasonable. I have to agree with your "pet cartel" comment. I wish more people would say something. Please someone with cats start having kittens so we can at least get one for a reasonable fee without needing to go through the entire adoption process.
