Tuesday and Thursday afternoons 3 hour shifts from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (and change to 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. starting in June.) We have a small ranch in Poway and we are looking for someone with animal experience, especially with dogs. We have horses, goats, ducks, tortoises, and up to 20 dogs in our care. We run a small dog training and boarding company and also work closely with several rescue organizations. Some of the dogs can be difficult because of the rescue work we do. Qualifications: • Have own transportation • Physically able to lift 50 lb bags of feed • Able to handle large, strong, excitable dogs • Experience with dogs and horses • Good people skills, able to communicate politely with clients • Reliable • Positive attitude Duties include: • Feeding animals • Cleaning horse stalls, goat pen and duck enclosures • Picking up dog poop • Keeping our dog room clean (washing crates, vaccuming, moping, laundry) • Raking, filling water bowls, using a blower • Brushing, grooming, bathing dogs and horses • Helping with projects around the ranch Please submit your resume to our email: [email protected] We will not consider applicants that do not submit a resume.
