TEMECULA, CA — A Freon leak Friday at the Temecula Warehouse on Ynez Road led to a store evacuation, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department. The leak, which was reported at 4:36 p.m., forced Costco managers to evacuate store employees and customers. Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department crews were standing by until a repair company arrived, a Cal Fire spokesperson said. There were no injuries reported in the incident. Calls to the store were went unanswered Friday following the incident; it's unclear when the store will reopen for customers. Freon is gas or liquid commonly used as a refrigerant.
