Description
Everybody's favorite Coonhound was cold at my last residence near Greenwich and Douglass as winter approached. Substandard conditions prevailed at that location and were forcibly maintained. So he began to seek solace at a neighbor's house. I had a residual misdemeanor jail term to handle over winter anyway...seemed like the Will of the Lord. But it seems that they have decided to try to keep him. The temperatures rising. When he's not concerned with being cold at night and recalls eight years of Hogan's Hero in getting back to me, of escaping from Wichita Pets and People's best dognippers, from a full scale Wichita's Finest 18 block 2 hour long Doghunt.
Digging out of a final backyard, three doors away just trying to get home with two ropes, two leashes, a harness and a broken chain with a choker on it around his neck in 2.5 hours. Out a window in a man's house and then burrowed out of his back yard in 20 min while Dude was home... I fear that those complicating his return to me are the only ones truly putting him in harm's way. He's big...he's overly friendly and these simple bumpkins think that they special on account of cuz he like them!!! March has sprung. Coonhound mode enabled!!
