Description

The laborer will perform a wide range of physical labor tasks under direction of the site foreman or operations manager on construction and landscaping sites. These tasks may include digging, grading, compacting, assisting in operations, installation of structures or anything else needed to keep projects moving forward. You may also be need assisting with extra workload, covering absences and vacations of others, and supplementing crews as needed to meet changes in production and in any weather as needed. Duties/Responsibilities: • Crew member working in all aspects of construction and landscaping installation process • Must be able to perform heavy physical labor. • Aids in keeping construction sites clean and safe. Works in a safe manor. • Closely follows directions of the foreman or operations manager to perform needed construction duties. • Safe operation of any equipment or trucks needed to perform duties. • Reports equipment malfunctions or needed repairs using our manager plus app as needed. • Must report all hours and routes through our TSheets app for time management for payroll daily Required Skills/Abilities: • Ability to listen, to understand, and follow instructions. • Ability to remain flexible as specific assignments change. • Ability to work with a variety of personalities. • Ability to work in a variety of roles • You must have a valid driver’s license • Performs other related duties as assigned. Education and Experience: • High School diploma or GED diploma. • Prior job experience preferred • OSHA 10 certificate or ability to get it Physical Requirements: • You must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas. • Have a Medical DOT and pass a pre-employment drug screen • You must be able to lift and carry up to 80 pounds and push and/or pull 50-pound loads at a time. • You must be able to work in all weather conditions. • You must be able to stand and walk up to ten hours per day and climb structures as needed.
