Description
Maintenance Technician
The essential functions include, but are not limited to:
- Be able to perform maintenance tasks and document completed tasks.
- Knowledge in maintenance areas including plumbing, electrical, drywall, carpentry and painting.
- Prepping apartments and single family residences for new move ins.
- Be able to troubleshoot problems that come up while working and figure out how to solve the problems.
- Be a self-starter, responsible, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be professional and possess customer service skills.
- Ability to lift 60 lbs.
- Maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
- Must always be courteous and helpful to residents, vendors and co-workers.
- Communicates effectively and on a regular basis with the maintenance supervisor and all staff members.
The skills you bring:
- General knowledge in the following areas; Plumbing, Basic Electrical, Carpentry, Landscape Maintenance, Drywall Repairs and Painting
- Ability to document completed work through photos and paperwork
- Knowledge of building systems
- Service orientation
Experience: At Least Two Years
Must Possess:
- General personal use tools
- Working cell phone
- Provide clean background check and driving record
While performing certain duties of this job the employee may be exposed to outside weather conditions.
