Where are all the good bass players at?

I am a guitarist, have a drummer ready to go. We are late 50's, like to play rock\fusion, have world class gear, facilities to practice\record. Looking for a like-minded bassist that has solid time, can play funk style (slap, ghost notes), loves to solo, bonus points if you use effects or distortion to some degree. If you have original material in the rock\fusion genre all the more better. We just like to get together on the weekends once a month or so have fun.
