BEL AIR, MD — A dog perished in a house fire in Bel Air over the weekend where authorities said a family of four was able to escape. At 2:51 a.m. Saturday, officials said the owners of a home in the 1400 block of Rolling Place heard a window break and when they went to investigate, they found a fire in the living room. About 45 firefighters from the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company controlled the blaze in 25 minutes, the fire marshal reported. Photo courtesy of the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company. The fire marshal estimated $150,000 in damage resulted from the blaze.
