Silas was adopted from Franklin County Dog Shelter March 1. While he is generally a very good boy, a month after adoption he has shown aggression to a person in the home, and increased aggression toward our other dog. Franklin County has a 30 day return policy that has now been exceeded and it could be months before they are able to take him back. Franklin County has also given me permission to try to rehome him myself. Silas probably needs a home with a person who is experienced handling Dobermans with this behavior issue, and a home where he is the only dog. He also needs work with his fears. He can be afraid of guests. He is good with cats. He is neutered. Silas is working on crate training, and is doing very well with that. He knows sit, shake, stay, and a few others he is more stubborn about.
