Family owned business looking to add a Shop Assistant/Driver to our team. We are a growing, energetic company that treats our employees like family. We are looking for a motivated individual with a positive work attitude who can work independently and complete daily activities according to a work schedule. Candidates must possess a Class E license, or be eligible for one, and have reliable transportation. Persons working in this position must be able to work under general supervision, independently and as part of a team, and follow both written and verbal instructions. Responsibilities: - Pack and load LTL shipments. - Assist in parts room, pulling parts and checking inventory. - Maintain overall cleanliness and organization of the facility. - Other shop maintenance items as needed. - Regular forklift operation. - Conform to all safety rules and use appropriate safety equipment. - Local and long-distance (not to exceed 600 miles) travel to pickup and deliver parts/components. - Deliver exceptional customer service. - Assist in other areas as needed and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: - Possess a Class E license or be eligible to obtain one. - Must be a detail-oriented person with a “can-do” positive attitude. - Experience operating a forklift. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. - Must be in good physical condition and able to lift at least 50 lbs.
