Description
We have a couple guinea pigs available just in time for Easter!
They make a perfect small animal pet for children (& adults too!) & they only cost about $10 or so a month!
We have both males & females available. All are complete healthy & ready for you to take home.
Please only email or text me if you are absolutely sure & ready to get one. I don't have time for games & I will not do any holds... first come first serve ! I'm asking a small rehoming fee that's less than 1/2 the price they sell them at the pet stores for.
Here's some tips for first time guinea pig owners:
-Food *I recommend Wild Harvest $5 bags from walmart & will last 1month per pig.
-Timothy Hay *Recommend Kaytee small bags are about $5-7 & last 1month per pig. They eat a handful a day.
-C&C cages off Amazon & reuseable mats instead of disposable bedding - easier to clean & a lot cheaper in the long run
- You will also need a water bottle & a food dish
- They sell guinea pig treats from $1-6 on amazon & walmart. Don't get it from the pet stores b/c they're 3X the price.
- Fresh fruits, veggies & herbs also make great treats & they are all very inexpensive as well. Below is a list of what they can eat & their favorites...
Lettuce, Romaine, Celery, Spinach, Broccoli, Carrots, Cucumber, Tomato, Apple, Cherries, Kiwis, Strawberries (including the leaves), Blueberries, Grapes, Plums, Bananas, Raspberries, Oranges, Pears, Mango, Watermelon, Honey Dew, Cantaloupe, Kale, Cilantro, Basil, Parsley, Rosemary, Thyme, Dill, Mint & wild Dandelion leaves! (the yellow weed flower that grows in the grass)
