We are a boutique dog business that specializes in daycare, boarding, and other related services. The Pet Attendant role does not require prior experience in the pet industry; however, the role will require you to work with dogs on a daily basis. We are looking for an outgoing, personable, team-oriented, individual looking for an opportunity to join a growing business. While the role will start as a Pet Attendant position, there is opportunity for rapid advancement for the right candidate (lead and manager roles). This position can be part-time or full-time (20 - 40 hours). The right candidate will need open availability from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. c/t Monday - Friday and Saturday and Sunday (7:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. c/t and/or 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. c/t); however, the majority of the shifts (unless covering for someone on vacation), will fall between 12:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. c/t Monday through Friday, and 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. c/t on Saturday and Sunday (weekend shifts vary depending on other staff availibility). We are very flexible and will work with the right candidate. The main responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, supervising and watching small and big dogs during daycare and boarding, walking dogs, feeding and preparing food for dogs, and maintaining the cleanliness of the facility, including but not limited to cleaning floors, kennels, washing dishes, and cleaning generally. Also, the right candidate may have opportunity to take part in washing dogs and/or assisting our head trainer with group sessions. Training will be provided for all aspects of the role, including on the software we use for the business. Prior experience with dogs is preferred; however, it is not necessary. Hourly pay is commensurate with experience. In addition to the hourly pay, there is opportunity for annual bonus for the right candidate.
