Vocalist/Guitarist/Bassist/Producer Looking for Musicians

Hey all, My name is Jesse and I am a former professional musician looking to get something started in the Bay Area when I move over here for law school (July). I haven't played consistently in about 4 years, but am just now getting back into it after some time away! I will be in the Palo Alto area, but am comfortable with distance as long as the fit is right! My Goals: I want to start something new with likeminded professionals who are involved in some sort of profession either inside or outside of music. My primary objective is to record and write with live shows being secondary to the overall goal of building an audience online. With that being said, I am apprehensive about joining an established project unless you currently have representation and distribution. In terms of the actual application, I'm a guitarist by trade, but am proficient vocally and prefer involved in some sort of vocal role, especially if I am involved in the songwriting process. My guitar stylings are most often compared to: Jimmy Page, Hendrix, Prince, Neal Schon, Eddie Hazel, Clapton-- think shreddy blues, but not corny like Bonnamassa. My vocal stylings are most often compared to: Elliott Smith, Connor Oberst, Kurt Cobain, Stephen Malkmus-- If they were in their feelings in the 90's, that's my style. As a side note, I am not interested in playing just bass in any project; we're all adults and know how difficult it is to find a bass player, but if you're looking for a hired gun, be prepared to offer compensation in your initial contact.
