I raised him and his brother (already rehomed) from 2 inches long and it really makes me sad to give him up but I just don’t have the time and energy to keep up with him anymore. I expect you to already have knowledge about Axolotls. He comes with his 40G Breeder tank, Cascade canister filter, adjustable blue/white LED light, black wood stand, water conditioner, Seachem Prime, water syphon, magnetic glass scraper, and 10 gallon bucket. He needs an aquarium chiller. When I had the time I would cycle frozen water bottles, but I just don’t anymore. Unless you are moving to a colder state or are able to maintain the frozen bottles, please anticipate dropping $250-300 for one. These are incredibly rewarding pets and are very cute, but there is work and money that needs to be put in. They are not suitable pets for children too young to clean an aquarium (rule of thumb is 12-13 ish). Asking $300 to ensure he goes to a serious home.
