Seeking Rhythm Section for Funk / Pop Cover Band

We are an experienced vocalist (20 y/o) and pianist (23 y/o) looking to start a funk/pop band in the greater Hartford area. Right now, we attend the University of Connecticut in Mansfield, CT (1hr). We are particularly inspired by Lawrence, Couch, Yebba, Lake Street Dive, Reliably Bad, Sammy Rae & the Friends, and DAISY. Rehearsals will take place twice a week once we fill out the following parts: - Drums - Electric Bass - Electric Guitar / Acoustic Guitar We are looking for players who are comfortable with rhythmic changes and improvisation. The ability to read sheet music is a plus, but is NOT required if you have a strong ear! Please send us an email if this sounds like you. We'd love to jam with you and hopefully gig this summer!
