At the tender age of four he sang his first song publicly ever. It was George Bensons “Masquerade”. He got such a warm response that from that moment on he began to perform in talent shows every weekend with the help of his Mother and Father. As time progressed he began to take his talents more seriously. He began to choreograph dance moves and help other local artists put their shows and songs together to fine tune their craft. In doing this he met another young aspiring artist by the name of Troy Taylor (who’s responsible for the success of Trey Songz). They hit it off instantly and began to work on music together. It was with Troy that he learned how to become a producer. Troy would allow him, his brother, and cousin to go to his house and work on ideas of songs they had. Troy had the equipment and they had the material. Shortly after learning how to write and arrange his own material Rahsaan began to develop a name for himself. He worked and crafted local artists in his city known to its residents as “Elm City” His voice is refined, smooth, and soothes the soul. A true reminiscent of the “Golden Era”. He has the ability to show emotions through his music and brings listeners to a happier place. Rahsaan has been in the business for over 20 years. He's worked to help develop, create, and produce some of the most influential songs and artists that the industry has ever experienced. He toured with all of the seasoned greats like the late great Gerald Levert and R Kelly. Acquiring knowledge and direction as well as giving it. He aided with Big L’s success in going gold. Rahsaan worked for years as an in-house producer for Teddy Riley. He worked side by side and produced for Lauryn Hill, Talib Kweli, Joe Budden, Gerald Albright, Tony Toni Tone, 702, Misa(Japan), Teddy Pendergrass, Tony Terry, Bobby Brown, Whitney Houston, Glenn Jones, Blackstreet, Wrecks N Effect, David Miller, Shomari, The Fugees, and LL Cool J.
