Huth is the Founder and President of the Ezra Project. The Ezra Project’s mission is to re-connect God’s people to God’s Word. At age 15, Allen was in a tragic car accident. God saved his life physically and spiritually that day. That night, he started reading the Bible. Allen has been a daily Bible reader ever since, over 50 years now. CAREER: He is a former member of the staff of the Colorado state legislature, a former Vice President of the Colorado Association of Commerce and Industry, and was a partner in a business consulting firm, when God called him to start the Ezra Project in 2002. Allen is a Personal and Business Performance Consultant as well as President of the Ezra Project. MINISTRY: Allen has been an active volunteer in The Gideons International for over 40 years. He currently serves on the Executive Committee as International President. Allen was International Vice President for three years, International Treasurer for three years, and a USA Zone Trustee on the International Cabinet for six years. He also served on the International Extension Committee, overseeing Gideon activities in Asia and the South Pacific. He has spoken in churches, banquets, and conferences in over 35 countries including Australia, Brazil, Cambodia, France, Chile, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Korea, Germany, Namibia, Romania, Singapore, Papua New Guinea, Thailand, and the People’s Republic of China. FAMILY: Allen and his wife Terry have been married 46 years. They have three children and five grandchildren. Crossroads Community Church in Parker, Colorado is their home church.
