You’ll learn draping, positioning, and specific techniques to help you design a protocol for your pregnant clientele. April 23rd 9am to 6pm with an hour lunch break This one day course presents Licensed massage therapists with opportunities to explore the practical and theoretical side of a specialized massage protocol. This particular population(pregnant people) benefits greatly from a solid therapeutic massage that is more than a light lotion application. Students will participate in hands-on draping, positioning, sequence and timing of a 90 minute massage routine. Myths, misconceptions and contraindications are covered as well as the mind-body connection. Class will be held at Houston Birth & Baby in North Houston. Please bring a set of sheets, 4-6 pillows and massage oil/lotion. We ask that you are considerate of others in attendance and wear a mask.
