FAIRFIELD, CA — A Fairfield couple was left shaken after a pantsless man — already wanted on a parole violation — showed up in their backyard and tried to enter their home through the doggy door, FOX40 reported.
Police received a 911 call the evening of Jan. 8 about a possible prowler on the 1800 block of Sycamore Drive, Fairfield Police said Tuesday. While the caller was on the phone with a dispatcher, the man started taking off his pants and started trying to enter the house, according to police.
Responding officers pursued the suspect — Leroy Vance, 48 — as he jumped over fences in the area, police said. He was later arrested.
Authorities learned that Vance, a registered sex offender, as on parole for a drug-selling offense and had cut off an ankle bracelet he was required to wear, police said.
Vance was booked into the Solano County Jail on suspicion of criminal trespass, resisting arrest, possession of methamphetamine and a parole violation, police said.
