Join us for an intimate Storytelling evening in support of our "Healing Walk for HS" . Have a story? Tell it! Please join us for a Storytelling Event which supports our "Healing Walk for HS". Do you have a story you want to share? Our main purpose is community. We want a brave place to tell our stories with others, a poem, a written story, a song, a heart beat and a drum. There are many ways to share at our open mic evening. You have 5-7 minutes for each story. Make a conscious mindfulness and meaningful connection with others. Pure vulnerability; enjoying raw emotions without judgement. You can choose to be a storyteller or listener. The coffee will be brewing, have a cup of green tea with honey, get comfy and join us. Why are we doing this? To talk bring awareness with HS Disease. WHAT IS HS? Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS) is a debilitating, chronic inflammatory follicular occlusion. It has a huge impact on quality of life physically, mentally, and emotionally. HS consists of extremely painful recurring abscesses that can develop anywhere hair follicles are found. It is possible to experience abscesses or lesions anywhere on our body with the exception of the palms of your hands, soles of your feet, and on lips. **Please save the date for June 4th 2022. We are hosting the 3rd annual interactive walk to bring awareness and compassion for those living with this disease, It is called "Healing Walk for HS".
