A plastic bag is used for an average of 12 minutes before it is directed to landfill. We at ANYBAG have created an avenue for this material. Plastic is ubiquitous. In our best case scenario, society would close the tap. We are nowhere near the horizon of that shift. ANYBAG is on a mission to reimagine waste. In the heart of New York City, our artisans craft a proprietary woven textile from intercepted single-use plastic and design it into durable, hand-crafted designed goods. A key to our business’s growth and scalability is that our production is vertical. Since 2019, we have collected 12,000 pounds and counting of discarded plastic from businesses and schools. We divert this material from landfill and produce our goods and materials in our family’s Manhattan, New York factory. We create durable, useful, and thoughtful goods whose production is the design. Proudly made in New York, by New Yorkers, we’ve been turning one human’s trash into another human’s treasure since 2019.
