BALTIMORE, MD — Students in Baltimore City are impacted by a ransomware attack in the county, according to authorities.
Those on city schools-issued laptops or devices are the only ones who should participate in virtual learning, Baltimore City Public Schools said in a statement around 10 a.m. Wednesday.
Students using devices that were not issued by the city school system were told to log off immediately.

Those using personal devices or from anywhere other than Baltimore City Public Schools were told their absences Wednesday would be excused.
