Description
Edi is a very sweet, loving and energetic dog with a complicated history. We got her from someone who was unable to take care of her (had her in a crate all the time etc) and she had found her as a puppy with her collar embedded into her neck. She is estimated to be around a year old but we really can’t be too sure. Edi loves blankets and LOTS of attention, so there’s no room for a second dog in her new home. She loves being on the bed because she gets cold easily from how short her fur is, she loves to snuggle! Edi warmed up to us and was snuggling us within days of having her in our home, but more recently has been acting out aggressively towards the other dogs in the home, and sometimes people. She jumps up on people and barks if she doesn’t know them, so definitely a bit of training is expected, but she is worth the training and the time. She needs someone very compassionate who can be around pretty much 24/7 because of her separation anxiety, but she has lots of love to give. (ps her separation anxiety most often appears in her licking her armpits raw or chewing her paws so that’s something to look for if you are gone longer periods of time, and it’s overall for her safety good to have someone in the house to hang out with her all the time)
