Network with your PY neighbors and learn about how co-ops can elevate your community!
Join your Pittsburgh Yards family for our monthly Community Mixer, a networking series that highlights a small business in Pittsburgh Yards and gives an opportunity for members and tenants to network and collaborate. Find out what is going on in the community and get a chance to highlight any news or events from your business.
Our co-hosts, Gangstas to Growers and Sweet Sol, will be joining us to educate on the benefits of cooperative business and how you can get involved with or start your own co-op. This is a BYOL (Bring Your Own Lunch) Event.
Bring yourself and a friend and let's network!

Our FacilitatorsGangstas to Growers (G2G) was founded in 2016 as the inaugural program of the Come-Up Project, an umbrella initiative, launching social enterprise cooperatives and training programs for community-based solutions. G2G, an agribusiness training program, provides economic opportunity and mobility to black, formerly incarcerated young adults in underserved and targeted Atlanta communities. They earn $15 hour in a 40 hour work week for 6 months. They have the opportunity to join our co-op Sweet Sol after graduation. Sweet Sol is a cooperative manufacturing enterprise distributing locally sourced plant-based hot sauce to sustain its members and eventually G2G community programming.
