BALTIMORE, MD — Firefighters were called to a school in west Baltimore Wednesday afternoon that has since been evacuated. Franklin Square Elementary/Middle School was found to have elevated levels of carbon monoxide, according to the Baltimore Firefighters Union IAFF Local 734. Officials said 10 people were evacuated before 12:45 p.m. Maintenance had been called to the school in the 1400 block of West Lexington Street.
