BALTIMORE, MD — Police said a woman was shot in the hand on York Road Wednesday night. She was taken to an area hospital for treatment, according to authorities.
The 52-year-old was trying to get into her vehicle in the 5900 block of York Road when she was approached by a man with a gun, investigators said.
He ordered her to get out of her vehicle, and when she refused, officials said he shot her.
Officers from the Northern District were called at 7:08 p.m. to respond to a report of a shooting and found the woman with a gunshot wound to the hand, police said.
