BALTIMORE, MD — A Baltimore police officer was hit on Interstate 83 Friday night, according to officials. Baltimore City medics were taking the officer to the hospital, authorities said. I-83 was closed to southbound traffic in the area of Coldspring Lane, the Baltimore Firefighters Union IAFF Local 734 reported around 10:30 p.m. The condition of the officer was not immediately available.
