Welcome summer by making the desk-plant no one can kill- needle felted cacti! Welcome summer with a felting workshop making fun cactus decorations!Participants will learn the basics of needle felting in this workshop and then dive into making these fun decorations. All materials provided. *COVID-19 Policy- Those wishing to attend unmasked may do so upon providing proof of current and updated COVID-19 vaccination status.* Attendees must be 8+Enjoy hot drinks from our magical Keurig machine such as coffee (SOO many kinds), hot cocoa, cider, and tea. Or bring a drink from one of the nearby venues in beautiful Downtown Kalamazoo! More info HERE Many people love them for pin cushions, too! Participants will learn about the materials and tools, including how to use the extremely sharp, barbed needles safely. They will also be provided with finger guards to help prevent pokes. Despite these best practices, pokes do happen, even to seasoned felters.
