Join us for a hands-on herbal elixir workshop and plant walk, brought to you by The Midsouth Women's Herbal Collective!
This workshop will be educational, immersive, and fun! We will explore the folk traditions of crafting our own elixirs and herbal remedies and then make a special "Tennessee Valley Spring Tonic" together, incorporating wild and medicinal plants that grow right here in the Tennessee Valley. Part of the workshop will be a plant walk around the farm where we will discuss and identify several wild herbs and weeds that are easy to wildcraft in our region. Each participant will get to take a tonic home with them to support and nourish their bodies throughout the Spring season.
ABOUT ELIXIRS
Herbal elixirs are sweet, medicinal herbal tonics that you can make in your very own kitchen with backyard weeds, wild plants, and easy to grow herbs. Many strengthen the immune system and contain adaptogens that support our nervous systems.
